The course offers an overview of the most relevant topics in paediatric congenital Echocardiography. Lectures will  discuss case studies. A particular strength of the course are three half-day practical hands-on tutorials. Participants will learn to perform Echocardiography with volunteer paediatric patients and work on an Echocardiographic simulator. During practical sessions candidates will be offered demonstrations of morphological specimens and 3D models of complex congenital cardiac lesions.

Course Faculty includes Consultants in Paediatric Cardiology, Consultant Neonatologists and Senior Cardiac Physiologists holding European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging accreditation in Congenital Heart Disease Echocardiography.

This course does not presume any prior Congenital or Paediatric Echocardiography experience, although those with a background in Echocardiography will find it much easier to follow.

BSE and RCPCH CPD points are applied for
